(F)EMPOWER
Saturday Nov. 11th

(F)EMPOWER is an intersectional feminist zine created by three killjoys currently based in Utrecht, Netherlands. Volume I: Issue I explores sexual and gendered violence, with the objective of connecting so-called “micro-aggressions” to a larger endemic culture of violence against women. Our hope is one of subversiveness: that this zine will be used, not only, as a tool for working through trauma, but as a tool for mobilising collectively against injustices and daily indignities.

Terezie Stindlova
Saturday Nov. 11th

🎶“You make me wanna throw ma pager outta window”🎶
This zin explores cellphones in late 90’s & early 00’s pop music videos.
Essential drama elements, product placement, naive prediction of the near future. I found this phenomenon as a simple example of a complex change in personal communication we have faced in last decades.
Zin includes screenshots from 36 music videos and a short text about the topic.

Dailydanai is an opportunist zine-publisher with meager experience, but lots of passion for the medium.

His upcoming zines include; gazed-at and stereotype depictions of anonymous voluptuous and lascivious contemporary women. Probably inappropriate and especially untimely for today's conflicted world. "But at the same time elegant and provocative"; said the scorpion to the turtle. Danai is hoping that the 'Avantgardistic State' of Worm will offer sanctuary for his work.
